About Us

Studio Read is a little gallery situated at the top of the beach directly opposite St Michael's Mount in Marazion, Cornwall. The gallery showcases the work of one artist - Morgan Read.

Who?
Painting from an early age, Morgan had works hung in both the National Portrait Gallery and the Museum of Modern Art. He gained unconditional offers to study art and design at both Falmouth College of Arts and The Surrey Institute of Art and Design where he gained a BA Hons degree in Visual Communication. After graduating he began his career in the design and advertising industry working in and around London, but continued to paint in his spare time. He went on to found a successful design agency and later relocated back to Cornwall. He currently resides in Newlyn with his wife and two sons splitting his time between his family, his design commitments and his passion for painting.
